My 6 Month Wait Is Finally Over

Hey OH!

Ok, I stressed ALL OF AUGUST  to lose my last 3 lbs so that I wouldn't have to do the 2 week liquid diet.  Dr. Jay told me that I needed to lose a minimum of 15 lbs in 6 months and I've lost 13.  I just couldn't get those last 2 off.  I tried EVERYTHING this month.  So I went to my weigh-in a little disappointed yesterday and the nurse was sooooo excited about my weight loss.  I couldn't understand why.  She hugged me and high-fived me about losing a total of 13 lbs.  She explained that many people either don't lose any weight or even gain so I was doing an excellent job.  That lifted my spirits.  She also told me that if I maintained the 13 lbs I had already lost without gaining before my final pre-op appointment, I would NOT have to do the 2 week liquid diet.  YESSSSSSS.  Thank God!!

I weigh myself every morning and today I was down another pound.  Well how about that!!!!

Ok, so now NeWeigh is submitting my information to my insurance and my insurance is really good about getting a response back within 2 weeks.  I never thought this 6 months wait would be over.  I'm so freakin' excited I don't know what to do.
