2 Months Out....

Hello OH,Today, I am 2 months post op. I have lost 33 lbs since surgery and a total of 49 lbs since I started my weight-loss journey. I am happy with my progress. I am happy that I survived Thanksgiving and no longer worried about what Christmas will bring. I noticed that I'm getting more looks and stares from the opposite sex. No one has approached me but I'm not ready to date yet anyways. I feel healthier and have way more energy. Honestly, I'm still not getting all my vitamins in everyday like I should but I take it a day at a time. I do however, make sure all my protein and water gets in. I really feel great you guys!
In sadder news, I'm slowly losing one of my very closest friends. It's like a marriage that just grows apart. We've always had different lifestyles but now it seems as though they're getting in the way of our relationship. I'd rather us be friends for life so I'm choosing to just let us stay in touch every once in a while, instead of never speaking again.
My kids spent Thanksgiving with their grandma, dad and his family. Apparently I'm not the only one who considers the ex a deadbeat because I heard that on Thanksgiving day, his mother ripped him a new one for being a sorry excuse for a father. Good!
