Appt follow-up

So it has been a week since I received the news from the nurses that they had submitted by prior authorization for surgery.  My approval can't come fast enough.   Not to mention, I had a follow-up appointment today with the bariatrician in which he told me that I don't have to come back & see him until after surgery...SCARY!  So everything now is dependent on whether or not insurance will approve me for surgery as to my next steps with the required additional appointments.

I must say that I have shocked myself in regards to my progress...28.6lbs down since December 2, 2012 is not bad at all and I am actually enjoying my water aerobics class more than I thought I would.  Although I don't really see the difference, people tell me that they can see it.

I have some family & friends telling me..."Well if you have done this good so far you don't need surgery."  and my reply is..."I am always 1 meal or snack away from relapsing.  It is not as easy as you think." 

I am just prayerful to have this opportunity and the will power & strength to be in the mind frame that I am in right now.
