Officially a Loser!!

Apr 22, 2012

Ok so Ive been just recouperating and getting some much needed rest, although i felt as if i slept a life time in the hospital and didnt really sleep at all. Anyhoo It started around 530 on the 17th I would say i wasnt nervous yet because I had my family with me.After finally being called back I signed a couple more papers and the process of starting an IV began. I never was the type to be a difficult stick but i guess i proved them wrong. After three stickstwo bruises lol i got my IV in.And i pretty much sat and waited. I met the Anesthesiologist and then Dr. Wizman came back a bundle of energy absolutely LOVE this man He had called me the day before to see if I could be his first case, because he had some MD Students that wanted to observe and far be it from me to turn him down so of course i said yes.Once i received the ok from him it was time to get rolling, straight to the OR.no no i still wasnt nervous yet lol I was transferred over to the table and then a tight face mask was put over my nose OK thats what got me a little nervous lol. After about three or four deep breaths,i felt this bad pain going thru my IV i was able to say "WHAT THE" and then i was out.lol The next thing I remember was being inside not even my recovery room, but my real room. I said wow I dont even remember the recovery? Anywho. The first night there was a little uneventful because i could do nothing but sleep that medication off. Then the next day was kind of the same thing, although I wanted to get up and walk i was so drugged and NAUSEA that in bed i stayed. I had to go for a Gaffin Dye test 2nd day which was horrible because it was this disgusting tasting liquid with ICE that I had to keep sipping with my new pouch right did they not get the point that my pouch can barely hold saliva right now....needless to say i vomited that up. Oh the pain lol
After that was pretty much getting up to go to the bathroom ,and walking.I was never hungry or thirsty but very nauseous. I was realeased home on the 19TH . I think i came home and went right to sleep and every day has gotten better and better. The GAS  OMG!!!! im still struggling with that but ive been walking alot more.So slowly but surely. I will keep you guys updated with everything! Thank You so much for being there even when i was Outta there! Love my OH Fam!
