Surgery is over (Jan 24th)

Ok here we go, the ride of my life has begun.  While in the hospital in pain and miserable I thought what in the world have I done to myself and my family.  I got very depressed but knew that it was too late to backtrack now - might as well go forward. 

I was very weak and couldn't hold down but 1 ounce of liquids instead of 2 and thought I'd be ok.  NOT!.  I felt myself getting weaker and weaker and got scared.  I started making myself walk more and drink more.  I followed the liquid regimen to the letter and am starting to feel better. 

I have woderful support in that I have a friend and sister in law that has lived through this and have lost alot.  I will get there and they remind me of that every day.
