Cardiology Clearance

On April 23, 2010 I will be having a hip replacement.
Yesterday I had to get clearance from my cardiologist. I haven't seen him since I had surgery in September.
I had such a wow moment, because he remembered me and also complimented me on my weight loss. I have had so many compliments from people, but for my Doctor to remember me I was so impressed (he hadn't even looked at my chart). He even gave me a hug which really made me feel like crying.

My doctor was one of the doctors that went to Haiti after the earthquake to help with all the injured survivors so I thanked him for all that they did while there.

I am so happy that I am finally having surgery and I really thought my pain would get better once I had surgery, but it has gotten worse.

My wls surgeon said the hip "probably" wouldn't hurt as much after I lost weight, but it has actually gotten worse.
Not putting the blame on anyone but myself though because is years of being overweight that this damage was done.
