Happy New Year to ya!

I hope everyone is having a great year so far. So much has happened in my life but, not much has changed. I'm still feeling like I'm brand new to the surgery process...even though I'm 19 months out. Wow! 19 months out??? That's crazy! It seems like yesterday that I was trying to talk myself into not being afraid of the actual surgery!

I had my surgery June 14, 2012. Exactly one year later, my husband had wls. He stole my surgiversary! It's cool though...I kinda like him lol. I had RNY, he had VGS. We're both doing great. I have finished dropping weight (I think). I've been between 148 and 152 for the last 9 or so months. I'm fine at this weight. I lost about 90lbs in all. My husband is 7 months out. I think he's 80 down...he works out more than I do well, maybe a lot more :) I'm glad we were able to go through this process together. I've read about couples breaking up after their surgery. That was scary to me. We're hanging in there...he's my best friend even before either of us loss a pound. As long as he continues to do what I say, we'll be fine! (Just kidding...lol)
