Fumbled & at a loss for words

It's hard to believe after all the effort of planning the words I'd use to explain my WLS decision to family. I literally found myself at a loss for words when asked "I think it's good news but why..why now? Along with which surgery?" Sadly I fumbled on an explaination that resembled nothing educated. I am relieved they support my decision for surgery. I wonder has this happened to anyone else??
