Clothes shopping makes me so depressed

I had to go shopping for an outfit to wear to a party. Picked out some stuff, went to the dressing room, tried it on, and started crying. Shopping depresses me so much. I know having this surgery isn't a quick fix and it's going to take a lot of work on my behalf to loose the weight and keep it off. I'm still waiting on a surgery date and I've decided that only if I HAVE to buy something for an event, I'm not going to buy anymore clothes.
