I'm Ready

Last week I met with my surgeon for the second time. I have now officially started the 90 days period required by my health insurance to qualify for the gastric vertical sleeve. I am very excited and scared at the same time. I have been dealing with weight issues for 15 years. I'm going to be 40 in a few months and I've decided that I've had enough. Suffering from severe sleep apnea, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, prediabetes, and extreme low self esteem. I sat down and seriously thought about where am I going to be in 10 years from now since I already have these health issues. I want to be around for a long time, to see my daughter graduate from college, get married, and have children. I know this is going to be a challenge, but I can do it. It's time for a change to happen.
