10:30am~
Yep, busy weekend! I drove up to get my son in KS from Ft. Riley and then drove him back here (to southern Okieland). Over a 10 hour round trip! lol UGH! Plus on the way up there I blew out a tire. I'm soo thankful that that is all it was! WOOT! I was covered with roadside assistance through my insurance and my tires were covered through Firestone's warrenty plan as well! Soo thankful for each of those. The crew at Firestone is the BEST! I will NEVER again take my car any other place to be serviced. WOOT! They simply are so nice, helpful, and truly want to help you.

Jay Jay (the oldest in the army stationed in KS) is getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan the first week of Nov. That's why I drove up there on a Friday and then drove him back Sunday! lol Crazy I know but I wasn't gonna let my kid sit alone in his dorm before going over to a war zone! Plus he got to hang out with his brothers, get a home cooked meal and chill in his old room (even though it's Kaleb's now, hehe) and go through the rest of his items he left here to see if there was anything else he wanted to take with him since I'm cleaning out that closet.

My husband took some time off this whole week (so I could go see a friend who was coming through on a business trip and then her plans changed). Then he complained that he changes around his schedual all the time and then I never do these things. Umm...I can't control what OTHER people do?!?! lol Really? I mean besides he said last week was the roughest week he's had. So he needs a break. There is no one here, and I only asked him to fix the hose on the dryer that keeps coming out and clean out the chinchilla cage. That's it! Other wise, he gets to sit on his butt and play his computer game with NO ONE bothering him for the last two days.

The boys are home from school Weds-Fri. It's their fall break & first parent teacher confrence. I was able to get all the kids' conferences schedualed today and get them out of the way. We are going to be doing some cooking for lunch (I have a children's cook book) that each of them can pick a recipe out of and we'll make one each day. They do love to cook and help in the kitchen. hehe

Saturday Patrick wants to take the kids to the park with the ducks (if it's nice) to feed them again. It was a GREAT family day so hopefully the weather will hold and we can go and enjoy the day there. I had a lovely time.

Since Friday's drive up and back I have of course been out of whack physically and mentally. My head has been hurting BIG time and my stomach has been of course bothering me since I drank coffee to help me stay alert (and I NEVER drink coffee, EVER! The last time was nearly TWO years ago! lol) it went right through me, but sure did help to keep me regular! lol Now I know the secret. hehe Though recently since I've added the fiber cereal and scottish oatmeal to my diet constipation hasn't been an issue (as much). Plus several of the yoga moves I do help with digestion. It's wonderful to NOT suffer from that any more! Well as much.

My eating since Thurs (Kaleb's party) has of course NOT been the best. I did have a piece of cake w/some ice cream (only one and one scoop). Friday I did really good with eating, I had a small cheeseburger that my son bought me on our drive back home and then a raspberr limeaid drink, didn't drink it all though since I had really bad heart burn. Saturday I had a frappe from McDonald's and ordered their southern style chicken sandwich and was soo disappointed with they handed me a fried piece of chicken on a bun with ONE pickle?!?! really? I did end up eating most of just the chicken and drinking half of the frappe (it was good! hehe) while at Kaleb's McDonald's party we had there over a three hour period. For dinner on Saturday it was pizza~movie night (since I didn't get home til 10pm on Friday) and I had 1/4 of my oldest son's calzone and then 2 chicken wings (and that was pushingit BIG time! lol) I did indulge and have a strawberry cheese muffin (yep those big huge ones that you are only suppose to eat a THIRD) and though it tasted alright, those calories and carbs have been weighing on my mind ever since! Sunday I made "whatever you want" brunch for the family. I had a scrambled egg, ham (low carb/fat/calorie turkey ham) & cheese on toasted wheat bread. I was proud of myself. My husband made orange Julius' and dang they were SWEET! We had to pour half it in a pitcher and add more milk and juice and ice to cut the sugar! that's what happens when you are NOT use to real sugar. lol I had a tuna on wheat when we stopped for a break driving Jay Jay back to his post so he could report back after his leave and then I had a crappy chicken burrito when I started the drive home! UGH! I had some chedder popcorn once I got home and had 3 chicken wings as well. Yesterday I only had a serving of combos (dang those things are NASTY!) they are surprisingly low in carbs (less then 20 a serving) and calories (160 calories a serving), but they are nasty tasting. I had a chicken sandwich and salad once I woke up from my 8+ hour sleep! lol

My stomach has been queasy still and my head is hurting. I'm hoping as I get more sleep and get back into my routine I'll be feeling better. I soo hope so! Of course the kids have been having coughs and running low temps. Joshua even through up Sunday afternoon (I'm hoping it was just from him not liking the cough meds I gave him), and was feeling warm. I haven't had any stomach sickness since I had my surgery.

I haven't had my nexium in weeks! I have my nine month check up next month on the 9th (hehe nine month on the ninth. Yeah I'm a goof!), and then I can get my perscription refilled. UGH! It's been super hard dealing with the acid burning sensation. Even the zantac doesn't help. The papaya extract helps temporarly along with rolaids and tums. It's not food that is causing the heart burn. It is having too much acid in my stomach. There is nothing I can get over the counter that will stop the production of acid in the stomach, only perscription meds will do that and it's soo dang hard to get in to see a doc on this damn base! UGH! Just a pain with only one car too since my husband is soo friggen crappy about it, making it seem he's sooo put out having to drop me the car off when all he's doing is sitting at a damn desk!

I'm really getting tired of his piss poor attitude. He hates where he's working. He wants to go back to his old job. I don't think there is ANY job he'd like, ever. I think he wants to sit his ass in front of the computer and just sit. that's it. Well even me being at home. I do NOT sit on the computer all day! I clean the house, do the laundry. Feed the kids, do home work. All he has to do is go to an office, sit at a desk, answer a question here and there and that's it! Can I have that job? get paid to play on my damn iphone and facebook all friggen day? Cause even now, with him on leave. He's gone to lowe's the dollar store. That's it!! I asked him to fix the dryer (I was in the bedroom laying down), so he used it as an excuse to NOT do it since "I dont' want to bother you while you are sleeping", and then took himself off to get a 64 ounce coke at the gas station. Gee..he has such a rough friggen life! While I was driving TEN hours on Friday he did NOTHING! The same damn dirty dishes were in the sink when I got back and even MORE! It's the slobby, dirty disregard for his surrounds and his short sightedness that drive me insane and make me want to just pack myself and kids up and leave him in his own filth!  Then he wants to be all lovey dovey?!?! Really?? What part of your selfish, cold, withdrawn, uncaring, slobbish behavior do you think makes me want to cuddle with you?!?! Please tell me! Cause I can tell you.....NONE!

Ok...rant over. lol Every relationship has it's up and downs. When I'm tired, I'm bitchy, nasty and hate when I have to then take care of EVERYTHING else on top of what I've just done. Pisses me off how inconsiderate he truly is. He's learning though. I've stopped him cold in his tracks and told him just what was up. Perhaps in another 10 years he'll have learned how to be more understanding, thoughtful, and have foresight. Maybe. lol

Going to go lay down and hope that I can get a bit of a rest before I have to do my hair and get ready for the parent teacher confrences.
