2:30 pm~
A lazy Sunday. I slept til noon and then had some afternoon delight! hehe My hubby is a crazy man!! How great to have someone that I can always laugh with and be silly with! It really does keep you young!

I have only done a load of laundry (since now the hubs is taking a nap) and the dishes. Wondering what to make for dinner. lol Actually I know. Patrick likes sloppy joes so gonna make that for him with some cheese.

I had my almonds today with my yogurt and on the back of the package it had the Meditranan food pyramid and red meat is only eaten a few times a month and chicken and other meats only a few times a week. Mostly they eat dairy daily with whole grains and legums (beans) as their protein source. Which of course does make sense. Beans have less fat in them and actually is a good help to clean out your system.

I know since I've been on cholestrol meds I've totally been hyper aware of the foods I am eating and really making concious choices to eat less cholestrol foods.

I have been super tired as well since starting both the BP and zocor. I know it can be a side effect and I'm on a low does on each (praying with eating changes and more fiber and foods to help reduce LDLs that I won't have to go on HIGHER doses). Of course being tired and lethargic has been an issue I've been having to deal with for many years now. The past few nights I have been up past nine pm and that does tend to be a good bed time for me. I just need to stick to it. There seems to be so much to do at night to get ready for the next day.

8:20pm~
Really fighting trying not to graze tonight. Been that way since Friday night. The weekend is always the hardest it seems for me. I meant to get a piece of gum but have forgotten and it's late enough that Im going to bed soon and if I can just hang on a bit more I'll be in bed and sleeping away! hehe

Did good on getting my water in today. I need one more 20ounces and I'll be good! I think my protein is good. I had a protein shake just in case.

Staying strong!!
