Feeling Better

Well, today I found out from my insurance that the Sleeve Gastrectomy procedure is an eligible bariatric surgery procedure. Medically necessary bariatric surgery is covered under my plan or policy.  That made me very excited.  I am attending the seminar again, per my Dr.'s request because the first time I attended one was in August 2009 and he feels I may have forgotten some key things since then.  I am going tomorrow but this time a little more excited since there is a strong change I can get the procedure I want done.

I have been keeping a food journal for the past 7 days so I can have down on paper how bad I have been eating.  Last night was day 6 and I have been doing so horrible so I got home from work and went on a 20 minute walk and then about 20 minutes working with my exercise band.  I felt so much better, even my mind was clearer when I went to bed.

I really need this, the surgery is all I think about, a healthier thinner life is all I think about lately.  I just know it is what can get me back on track towards being who I really am.  I always look at myself in the mirror and wonder where the real me is, I'm just hidden under layers and layers of fat and I want out!

I am taking my life back! Today is a good day, prayerfully it just gets better and better! :)
