The Beginning

Friday, April 30th was my intial consult with my surgeon and she is remarkable.  I was referred to her by a friend who had WLS last November and her recommendation was a godsend. 

Dr. Lee took time to explain everything to me and gave me a chance to ask a lot of questions.  Then she surprised me and said barring any problems I coud have my surgery as early as July and that my recovery would take a month.  I was shocked because i anticipated not having my surgery before Nov or Dec of this year.  Of course I have to lose some weight before my surgery,  My goal is 60 pounds and I'm determined to make it, especially since losing 60 pounds will make my surgery go better..
