Doctor Referral!

 Today, I found out that my doctor, which was a bit reluctant, had sent my referral request for a surgeon for WLS. I cannot say how excited I am about this. I am looking forward to that phone call from the surgeon's office with my date and time for my first appointment. I am so ready for this!!

It's just the begining

It was about 2 years ago I went to a seminar to see Dr. Verseman for WLS, and I was very interested. I guess I just wasn't ready yet, but I am now! I've asked my new PCP of almost 2 years for a referral, and he told me to come back and see him in about 3 months. I am not willing to wait that long since I've already held myself back 2 years. If he is not willing to send me on to a surgeon, then I am on a mission to find a new PCP!
