I got the call from the doctor's ofice to schedule my pre-op stuff for next Friday, the day is getting closer and I can't wait. I am just trying to get everything squared awayed with bills and etc. My daughter is in Alabama with her dad and won't be home untill after I have my surgery. I'm doing this for myself, my kids and my Husband. I need to feel better about my health and myself, then I can be more active and participate more in the activities of their lives

I am so freakin excited I don't know what to do.. I got the call from the Doctor's office and I have been approved. They said I will have my surgery date in 5-10 days. I meet one on one with the doctors on June 18th to pick my doctor and then they start the pre -op stuff. My day will finally be here before I know it. I can't wait to start my new life. 

This is the beginning of my journey.. I went to my 1st nuitrition class Sat and my 1st support class last night, at Orange Coast Memorial Hospital.  It was very interesting to say the least. I was amazed at one lady I think her name was Mary who has in two years lost over 200pds WOW I was in amazment. I picked up alot of tips about protein drinks and what is good and where to buy them, and the name of a book that I am interested in reading.  I called today to speak to my coordinator Aisha and let her know what I had completed, I believe now I just have to wait for the Insurance to approve me for the surgey date and do the Pre-op appointments.
I am very excited!!!!!
