Exercise Obstacle

Jan 28, 2013

Am down 16 pounds now since the start of the year, but my one-hour treadmill each day has become harder and harder as I'm fighting anemia right now. Like many other pre-menopausal women, I've been having very heavy bleeding with my periods, and they've been lasting for ridiculous amounts of time (last one went 21 days). It's made me weak, tired, and dizzy to the point that I have to stop a couple of different times during my treadmill hour just to drink water and try to get my pulse down. I can't wait for actual menopause to hit cause this excessive bleeding sucks!

And I'm Back . . .

Jan 24, 2013

Was a member on here long ago and, long story short, after tread milling/dieting my way down 102# to a normal BMI, I fell off the wagon and back into bad habits (stopped exercising and counting calories). Thus, I found myself this New Year's back up at 237 (almost a complete regain back to where I'd started from the first time around at 244).

So I've put myself back on my plan and have lost the first 13# since the start of the New Year. Have had lots of stressors but, so far, have not let them derail me. I've got another 102# to go, and then the real challenge will begin . . . maintenance. Anyway, I'm back here for the support network and some public accountability.
