Milton Owens

"My first impression of Dr. Owens was that he really knew his practice. When I listened to him at the seminar I left saying that if I was going to have the surgery, he was definately the one that was going to do it. Over time my impression of Dr. Owens has slightly changed, after surgery I have had questions, or problems and Dr. Owens has not helped me very much. He is so busy I talk to his wonderful nurse more than him. The office staff is GREAT. Especially Nancy and Deanna. Future patients should be aware that Dr. Owens knows the surgery like the back of his hand if not better, so that may pose a problem if your case or situation is too different from a normal one. After care is more important to Dr. Owens than the surgery itself. He is determined to see his patience lose. For me Dr. Owens bedside manner and surgical competence were equal. He took time to discuss the surgery with me in great detail, in the seminar, in his office, right before surgery and he came in several times while I was in the hospital to check on me and just to talk. He sat down and talked, he didn't just run in and out. Dr. Owens is a great Dr. He just must try hard to think outside the box when it comes to problems with eating and other small problems I had after surgery. "

"The hospital was nice. They took good care of me and made sure i got what I needed. My one complaint was they waited too long before allowing me to get up and walk. Every nurse said another one was coming to assist me. "
