Hello OH friends! WOW, I cant believe its been 5 years since I've crossed over to the losing side, it has been a journey for sure! I've been fortunate in that I have never had complications (knock on wood) lol...I started my journey at 240lbs and my lowest weight was 118, then I maintained for quite some time at 122 (almost 3yrs). Then changes in my life came along and with that came stress. I guess the stress got to me and I went up to 132. Myself I hate those 10 extra pounds, but I vow to work on losing them too. I hope each and every one of you take this change seriously, do what you are suppose to do, take your vitamins and supplements daily, get in your protein and water, be good to your body and ENJOY your changes. Each body is different, each body will lose in it's own way. And PLEASE, feel free to read through my journal here on OH.

Oh my, It has been a while hasnt it??? Lets see....In the spring my husband got orders to Alabama. In late June we made our move to our new home. Also in June my oldest son got married and graciously gave me a beautiful grandson on Sept 29, 2009. William Joseph "Aiden" Hamel. And OMG I'm just in love with the little guy. Beacuse of the move I had to resign from the job I loved and am currently still seeking employment. the market here is really slim. My weight today is currently at 126lbs. I did get up to 130, but it's slowly coming off, guess that is what all the stress will do. Four more classes and I have my associates degree, so thats a major goal for me. Kids are all doing well, life is good, just need a job. lol

Hello Everyone!
It's been a bit since I've updated, but here goes....Lets see, I will be 4yrs postop on March 10, and still maintain at 122, always giving or taking a few pounds. Online classes are going good, I hate my current one, "History of Rock and Rock", thought I was enjoy it, but OMG it's redicilous, anyway after that class I will have 8 more til my degree. DH graduates in June with his bachelors at which time we will be heading to Alabama. Yup we are leaving Arkansas and moving to AL!!! We are all very excited about the change. Work is incredibly busy, which I like, just hope I can find a good job there. I'm real excited about the move and getting to meet so many Bama OH'ers, it's going to be a VERY welcomed change. Other than that, it's ALL good!

It's hard to believe its a new year already. I can only hope and prey that 2009 it not nearly as traumatic and dramatic as 2008 was. My goal for this year is to NOT use credit cards, if I can't pay cash then I don't really need it. Work is going good, so that's always a plus. School is good, I start my 4th class in early Feb. I'm thinking about realestate school so that when the market picks up I can be ready. I've been spending alot of time sewing, it's real realxing for me. I've been making reversable totebags. I'll have to post some pictures on here for all to see....I hope everyone has a great 2009.

Hello! I know it's been a while since I've posted. So much has happened this year it's not even funny. Currently DH is recovering from shoulder surgery, My middle son graduated May 20th from High school, my baby starts HS in a few weeks. I'm suppose to close on my little house I've had for 6yrs. I'll be glad to be done with that. Been car hunting, I'm getting a Jaguar, my dream car. I started online classes this summer, so far so good. Only 11 more classes til my degree. Woohoooo.......Weight is pretty much still maintaining. I've gained just a few lbs. (3-4) but I think that's due to meds I've been taking for my back. I've been doing alot of medical treatment for my neck, shoulder and now my back, all compliments of the car accident I had back in Jan. I'll be glad when that mess settles. It's always something........Anyway, all is good here. Hugs,Cathi

WOW, it has been a while since I've updated....How time flies. Well as you may know I got married in December, we snuck off and got married, so we had to do a little redo for the families. It was the 8th. Man what a Great time we ALL had! This weekend we are heading to Biloxi, MS because next week my hubby is having lasix eye surgery. So we leave the 15th, drive to Vicksburg, MS go to the casino, spend the night do a little sight seeing the next day, then head to MS. Monday is his eye appt, tues off to New Orleans to go to Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville, Wed is his eye surgery, thurs we'll lay low, then either Fri or sat we'll head to pensacola, FL and possibly spend a night there. So we're making it like a little honeymoon getaway. It should be a great time. Then they recheck his eyes on the 24th and off to home we go....Wooooooooo, I'll need to go back to work to rest! LOL ANNNND, my hubby made SMSGT....Thats Senior Master Seargent! He's looking at putting in papers for us to go to Germany! Oooooooh Yessssssssssssssss, that is where i was born. lol Annnnd I was 3yrs postop on the 10th!

Well here it is almost Christmas, it's hard to believe the month is almost over. Not to mention the new year is almost here as well....What a busy year 2007 has been. I hope that 08 is a little more slower. Well only 8 more days and I'll be a married woman, again. LOL This time is the real deal. Jeff is the greatest man I have ever met.......I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a safe and happy new year.

WOW, it's hard to believe it's almost December. So much has happened this past month. I was on the Star Jones show earlier this month. It was a very quick trip to NYC, but what time I had there was simply amazing! Star was so kind and friendly, it was like we'd  had known each other all our lives.....Thanksgiving was GREAT, Jeffs family was here, we celebrated his birthday and we did a little family Chrismtas. We are getting married on Christmas Eve this year. We're going to have a ceremony at a later date. It's all good!!!

WOW-I didnt realize I hadn't updated in over a month, sorry folks. lol Our cruise was wonderful, we had a really great time. Seven days in the Caribbean, what more could one ask for....It's hard to believe October is just about over. I'm getting ready for the holidays. Me and my fiances sister will be cooking Thanksgiving dinner at our house and his parents will be coming to dinner too, along with all of my kids. Woohooooo!!!! I'm putting our tree up early because his family does their Christmas at Thanksgiving since everyone is together at that time. We're going to really do the house up for his mom. I'm headed off for a fast trip to the Big Apple tonight, I'll be back late tomorrow night. I'll tell ya'll what I'm doing when I get back. LOL Have a great day! MOM

Just a little update...I can't believe it's September already. Where has the summer gone??? I've added a new picture to my profile of me and my sweet aka/my fiance'. Yes thats right, we are getting married! We haven't set a date yet, I will let ya's know when.....Hugs, MOM
