"I was very satisfied with Dr. Rupp - he is eminently qualified, knows what he's doing, takes the time to explain and answer your questions and I felt confident that this was the surgeon for me. That hasn't changed....at my first follow up appointment, I ended up having a CT scan and he is following things through with me, not handing the ball over to someone else to follow.
His office staff is genuinely helpful, courteous and friendly - Ginger is a great asset, and so is Jody. Joyce has been his RN for the bariatric program for many years.
I would trust him with my life anytime.....he fully discussed the risks and rewards and emphasizes that YOU must be the one to use the "tool"...he can only provide it to you. If there are any negatives to report....it is just simply that he is too busy!!
There is an aftercare program - but I would like to see it emphasized more and perhaps conducted twice monthly for new post-ops, so that good habits are instilled early. Currently, the seminars are held monthly."
