"I sought out Dr. Gagner for the DS procedure and found him to be extremely competent, caring and compassionate. My surgery was performed at the Westmount Surgical Centre on August 28, 2012 and the care I received was incredible. I was treated like a member of the family from the moment I walked into the clinic to the time I was told I could make the journey back to Ottawa.
The one thing I have found a bit difficult is the lack of a structured aftercare program. It has been challenging to figure out the post-op eating and vitamin regimen on my own and I will only find out how well I have done in that respect when I get my first labs after the first three months.
I have absolutely no regrets and would highly recommend this avenue to people in Ontario that want the DS and are willing to self pay. Dr. Gagner and his team have given me a new lease on life and I will be forever grateful for their assistance."
