My faith is in God and God alone. I finally, finally have a surgery date! Yay me!!  December 12th 2011. Now...I'm getting nervous. I am trying not to think about it but I am so excited at the same time. Im worried about the pain, Im worried about this 3 week diet, Im worried about saggy skin issues, but part of me feels like I am just being stupid and I need to get over it. But like I said, God will watch over me and it is all in his hands!!  Im on my way.

Today is July 29th 2011. I had my first visit to start this process on June 21st. I still do not have a surgery date but I have been told it will probably be mid October. I am so ready to get this done and over with. I am so excited looking at all these pictures of people before and after. I remember being a much smaller size at one point in my life and I want it back. I want my life back. I want to spend my money on new clothes and shoes, not on insulin pens and testing strips. My insurance requires I have a 3 month diet program and I started that on 6/21. The diet is really not that bad...which makes me wonder if I am doing it right! I lost 5 pounds the first 3 weeks. I started this at 322, I am now at 317. Not a lot different, but I can live without that 5. I will try to stay on top of this blog and keep it updated. Next appointment is August 25th, really hope I get a surgery date then!!
