November 6th 2007. I am now 3 weeks post op for my sleeve. I am just amazed at how good I feel. I have progressed onto solid food now and so far have not had any problems with any food. I just chomp chomp chomp on anything that goes into my mouth. I have lost 10kgs now and it really shows. Everyone is commenting that I have lost weight . I have not told anyone about my "secret" Nt even my mum , not my siblings, not my work colleagues, noone.That has beena difficult decision but I decided on that plan as I did not want any negative feedback from others that really dont have a clue about what its like to carry this weight around for years.Maybe I'll tell them one day.
I have been blown away by how quick the recovery has been, how little pain I have felt. This has been a great experience and I have no regrets at all.
