Post-op Day 2

Surgery was Monday, and I'm pretty sure today is Wednesday. I'm back home now, and even though the hospital expereince was good, it's still so nice to be in my own place.

Interesting observation: I've been dreaming about food. Donuts, cake, hot dogs. THese are not things I usualy dream about.

My guess is that this is my brain coping with the change.

Steve has said he is shocked how many times in a day he wants to offer me food. 

This will be a really interesting journey. The mental / emotional part must be dealt with. Hopefully my therapist can keep up.
