So... I got the Predetermination of Benefits letter back from my insurance today.  It states that :  Based on a review of the info they received it has been determined that the proposed procedure and related hospital charges are payable under my benefit plan.  Once I meet my 100.00 deductible then everything is payable at 100%.   

So....does this mean I am approved for surgery?? 

So..my insurance does not require me to be on any supervised diet or lose any amount of weight before surgery BUT my bariatric Dr puts his patients on a low carb high protein diet and I have lost 21 pounds since Jan 18th! I am trying to finish up the rest of my appointments and get cleared so we can get surgery scheduled!  I was hoping for March but it will probably be in April.  I will be having the Loop DS!!

I had my PFT test done today...I sure hope I get clearance from the Dr!!!  Feeling worried.
