I am 65 years old and female. Live in a small town in Canada. Just going through the process of bariatric surgery. I have rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, and Raynaud's disease. In the last 5 years I've had four surgeries both shoulders,  bone spur on the back of my heel and back surgery for spinal stenosis. Consequently I have gained a lot of weight especially from the prednisone that they put me on and other meds I'm sure. Also from not being able to move very much. So now they have suggested that I have the bariatric surgery. I also have ulcers in my stomach and esophagus from the prednisone they say. I've seen the psychologist , dietitian and hematologist. They all say it is it go. Now the next step is to see the surgeon. Hope it is soon. Tired of waiting.
