HI EVERYBODY, I`S ME ELAINE, AND I`M DOING JUST GREAT. I HAD A LITTLE PROBLEM WITH NAUSEA RIGHT AFTER SURGERY BUT IT WAS CONTROLED WITH MEDICATION. I`M RECUPERATING AT MY SISTERS FOR A FEW WEEKS, BUT I`M ALREADY ANTSY, TO GO HOME. OH WELL, I GUESS I`M ON THE MEND. LOL LOL!!! I FEEL REALLY GOOD, I`M DOING MY 2 OZ. AN HOUR, WHILE AWAKE. I`VE HAD NO NAUSEA OR PAIN, IN MY LITTLE POUCH. I`VE HAD NO HUNGER, OR HEAD HUNGER YET. THANK GOD, I`M DOING JUST GREAT. I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL FOR THE SUPPORT AND THE LOVE, YOU HAVE ALL SHOWN ME. YOU HAVE TURNED, WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN A SCARY TIME FOR ME, INTO AN EDUCATED, KNOWLEDGEABLE, WELL REHEARSED, EXPERENCE, FOR ME. I WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL. MY LOVE TO YOU ALL. LOVE, ELAINE

Angel flying in~~~Elaine emailed me tonight. She says she feels good but get tired very easliy. But other than being sore she's fine. I would like to Thank Everyone who took time to post to Elaine's surgery page with support and well wishes. We all know how much they help at this time. Prayers to all pre/post ops. ANGEL FLYING IN; She's home !!!! Seems to be doing well and looking forward to her 2 oz mealtime! Liquids only until next Wednesday, then other items can be introduced. All went well and your thoughts and prayer's helped. Thanks again. Prayers for pre/pro-ops. Hugs Kathy

Angel flying in: Got a message from the family of Eline today. Elaine is doing great!!! She should come home tomorrow. All signs are good. She got her "liquid" tray today and generally feels much better each day. Her spirits are high and she seems mentally prepared to tackle this new lifestyle. Thanks for all your support. Lets go to Elaines surgery page and congratulate her on her surgery and wish her a speedy recovery. Thanks to all for your words of encouragement for Elaine. Prayer for pre-ops and best wishes for post-ops. Hugs to all Kathy

Elaine, Sorry your first day out of surgery was a rough one. Hopefully all the nasty part is over and you will enjoy a speedy recovery. My prayers and wishes are with you.

Angel flying in: Last night was rough on Elaine! High sugar levels, nausea, pain, etc. although we are told that is all part of it, this morning she was much more alert, off the bed and walking. Still monitoring the sugar levels and a little nauseated but improving. These are the words of a family member. I hope I got it right LOL. Anyway could everyone go to Elaines surgery page and wish her well. Prayers for all pre-ops and post-ops. Hugs to all Kathy
