Doctor's Hospital Of Dallas

"The surgical suites on the 2nd floor were really nice. Wood floors, flat screen tv, nicer towels and bedding. Completely remodeled floor. All the nurses, LPNS, aides, etc... were very accommodating in my opinion. I really had no problems with the staff. The only complaint I guess I really had was that my family had to help me with my bath the first day as the aide just basically brought in some wet bath wipes and said "if you want to take a bath, here you go." She didn't offer to help me and didn't bring me a clean gown or change my sheets. She later told my family she thought I was leaving. It was in my chart that I would be there a minimum if 2 days and this was the first A.M. after surgery. Oh well, my mother-in-law is a LPN, and she took care of it for me. She got me a gown, changed my bed and gave me a bath as I could not shower yet and I needed help due to the pain. All in all, the staff was really nice, the room was clean, the floor was peaceful (except this poor old guy in the room next to me who could not help coughing all night-not his fault) and it even had a concierge. Very nice."
