I had a VGB lap band procedure done in Nov 01. It is not adjustable. It is closing up and my hernia is back. So I am having a sleeve procedure on Aug 10 2009 at St Luke's Houston. I am really nervous but excited to get the old band off and the hernia fixed. I have gained weight back because of food not being able to go down so I eat soft things like Ice Cream!!! Hopefully this sleeve will be my answer to losing my extra 30 lbs I have put on. Would love to hear from any sleeve patient.
