So my company will pay for the gastric bypass, but denied me cause they want me to travel to another state to use there dr. The dr office that I wanted to use called them to find out what I needed to do at which time they told them of the 6 mths requiements only to have me to do the, but then turned around and denied me cause I wanted to use my dr that is in my network. This is so crazy please someone help me is it worth me appealing. I really need this surgery and I cant pay for it out of pocket.

Hey guys,

I had my last appt with the nutrutist on Friday and they submitted my info to the insurance on Monday. Waiiting now to hear if I get the approval needed to have my surgery. Nervous but excited at the same time. I'm hoping that there are no issues and all goes well. Wish me luck!!!
