"I just returned home yesterday from surgery with Dr. Alvarez and I feel wonderful. In fact, it's hard to believe I had surgery at all (but I know I did because I've seen my tiny little stomach on x-ray!). Dr. Alvarez and his entire staff are just the BEST. All of them are genuinely warm and caring people who are quick to respond to your needs. Dr. Alvarez is wonderful – technically very skilled, informative, warm, funny, and very down to earth, as is Dr. Gabe. Christina is the wonderful day nurse and she speaks great English. The night nurses do not speak much English, but they try very hard to communicate and are all very sweet. Rosy, the van driver, is funny and warm and marvelously reassuring. Susan is an outstanding coordinator. She always answered my e-mail questions or phone calls right away, and I felt like she truly knew what it was like to be in my shoes. If I could, I'd pack them all up and move their practice to the States to show doctors here how good surgical care can be. "
