"I have only met Dr Vaughan at his lecture. My pre-op consult is in a week. His staff is absolutely the best. They always take calls and also answer the numerous questions you have. Dr Vaughan has a great aftercare program from everything I have read.
I had my consult, and the surgery. I must say I thought Dr. Vaughan was great. He came to the hospital twice a day to check on me. After I left the hospital, he was always available to answer any questions. His office staff is the best, Debbie and Tina especially. Dr. Vaughan also has two assistants who have an office in the hospital wing where the patients recover. They are Kerrie and Joanna. Kerrie handles all the meetings and admin stuff, while Joanna is an RN who handles all the food and med questions. She also is really good at finding good iv sites. And they both run the support group meetings. The hospital provides 3 months of free gym/pool at their wellness center. Overall, I would rate Dr. Vaughan as excellent, his bedside manner and surgical competence are terrific. Staff was a pleasure to deal with. And the best part is that they all seem to really care about how you are and your results. I felt for me, Dr. Vaughan was a good choice. I was able to speak to him comfortably, and he, along with Kerrie and Joanna are healthcare professionals and really seem to understand what an obese patient has to go through. "
