"I was introduced to Dr. Nowzaradan through Liv-Lite in Houston. He was one of two surgeons working with the Liv-lite program. I preferred the other surgeon's bedside manner but Dr. N was obviously knowlegeable and capable. Dr. N was also willing to accept the fee structure from my insurance company, something the other doctor would not do and would have required and additional $3000 to perform the surgery.
22 days post op I am glad Dr. N was my surgeon. I have had no post-op issues thus far. My one complaint was that besides the day of surgery I never saw Dr. N until my discharge 4 days later. Not that there were any issues for him to address but I would have liked to have spoken to him after the surgery and discuss my progress during those first few days. I did have a nephrologist who saw me daily and addressed any questions I had and he was in daily contact with Dr. N. For the record, if I had to do this again, I would pick Dr. N. "
