40 pounds! Wow! My surgery was 8/20 and I have lost only 20 pounds now do you feel better. LOL Anyway what I am trying to say is hang in there everyones metabolim is different and everyone is going to lose but at different paces. Kathy

Well I've got my staples out. It really didn't hurt at all I was pleasantly suprised. I had about 60 staples, pretty long incision, but the Doc says everything looked great. I lost 19lbs. Not bad for 11 days huh!!!!! It is unbelievable to think of losing 19lbs in 11 days without even one hunger pain. I'm feeling stronger everyday.

Hello everyone, I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for all your words of encouragement. It helped so much get through those days before and right after surgery. My surgery went fine, no complications, THANK GOD. I arrived home on Thursday, 3 days later. Had a problem the first 5-6 days with "muscle spasm" type pain, but it is subsiding now. I have been just taking it easy, can't really bend or move to freely yet, but I get my staples out tomorrow so hopefully that will help. I've had some wonderful friends come over with meals and one friend even came over and cleaned my house. It is a wonderful thing to have friends. But the family has been great and I been able to take it easy. I'll update again as soon as the staples are out tomorrow, I'm curious to see if I'll feel differant. Thanks Again for all your support.

Hi Janet~ Just wanted to stop by and wish you the best of luck in your new life. Dr. Provost is doing my surgery on the 13th---it won't be long before we're "sisters". HA!
