"I first went to a seminar this surgical group presents monthly to meet all the surgeons in the group and get an overall explaination of the surgery and recovery. The group also has weekly support meetings with a member of the nursing staff and one of the surgeons in the group. This was very important to me. I met the doctor soon after the seminar. He was friendly, professional and empathatic. It was a very positive meeting. After the exam and interview, I expressed how excited I am about the surgery. He told me that it is very rewarding that he can assist someone gain control of their life again. The staff was very friendly and informative. I have started getting the pre-op tests needed before surgery. "
