Angel report on Susan Bickley -- I saw Susan today (Sunday, August 25th) and she's doing great. Her NG tube was taken out today and they have started her on a liquid diet. She's had water already and was sipping on a strawberry Ensure when I left. Her spirits are up and she seems to be coasting right along. She doesn't have a lot of pain other than the drainage tube that is still in place. She should get that taken out on Monday. Her recovery seems to be running pretty smoothly at this point. I am going to drop by for another visit tomorrow and will update you all again after I see Susan. Thanks again to everyone for your thoughts and prayers for Susan! God bless!

Good evening to all! It's Friday night around 10:30 p.m. and I'm just now getting settled in for the night. I went to visit Susan in the hospital around 5:00 p.m. this afternoon and she's doing fine. She said she wasn't in a lot of pain, but that she was getting frustrated with the NG tube. She should get that taken out by Sunday. She was a little groggy from all the pain meds, so I decided to tip-toe out of her room so she could get some rest. She had her sister there with her at the time and a few other visitors were sneaking in when I left. I will go back to the hospital on Sunday when she's feeling better and check on her then. After my next visit, I will update this page with her progress. Thanks to everyone for all of your kind words, thoughts and prayers for Susan during this important event in her life! God bless you all! Love and Hugs!
