Linda, I am wishing you a successful, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having done this several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life.

Hello Linda, just wanted to wish you luck with your surgery we are have our procedure the same day. Always remember sometimes life leads us in directions that are beyond our control and our weight is one of them. It is at these times, most of all that we need someone who will quietly understand us and be there to support us. I want you to know that I am here for you as we walk into the new direction our surgery will point us in. Dreams can come true if you take the time to think about what you want in life. This surgery will bring a major change in our body but not our mind. The mind is the part we must work on ourselves. Remember to get to know yourself, find out who you are, choose your goals carefully and be honest with yourself.

Dear Linda...Positive thinking is the best medicine right now as well as following your surgery. Don't allow fear and anxiety into your mind and you will find that you can conquer anything.
