The staff, particularly Cynthia, seem competent and attentive, though not perfect, (but, who is?). It's really hard dealing with HMO's.
I noticed that Dr. Brolin's initial consultation was less infromative or thorough than it could have been. He meerly highlighted statements printed in St. Perr's Hosp. brochure on bariatric surgery. He diddn't seem to mention the nutritionist's evaluation or psychiatric evaluation. Fortunately I had already had these done as I was working with Dr. Elliot Goodman at first, though denied because the facility was not in my ins. network.
Also, I seem to be getting the impression that aftercare is not intensively followed by the doctor, but the people of the support group try to take up the slack.
Perhaps I will find out otherwise about the aftercare."
