Hi Heather, I read somewhere that you have to lose 15-20 pounds to change a size, and I've found that to be fairly accurate, for me at least. I started out in size 22-24 and am now 12-14 and 80 lbs. down and that is consistent with that 15-20 lbs. Of course, others may be different. I also heard that you come down a shoe size for every 25 lbs., but that hasn't worked for me, except that I am no longer wearing WW shoes, just plain W. Hope this helps!

Hey family, well 4 days after surgery and feeling pretty good considering. Can't wait for the liquid phase to be over with. I wanted to just say thank you to everyone who posted on my surgery page and said some major prayers for me. I would love to thank each of you individually, but I still don't have the strength. So thank you to all of you hugs all around. I would also like to ask that if you have a moment say a little prayer for a friend of mine. Her name is Dayna and we roomed together in the hospital. She had open RNY on Oct. 1st and has had minor complications. She's back in the hospital hoping its nothing to serious. So please say a prayer for her. Thanks again to all of you who sent me kind words and encouragment. XOXO

Well I'm home. I had surgery on Wed. and home today and aside from feeling a bit sick from the pain meds, I feel great. Would def. do it again in a heartbeat. When all the post-ops tell you pre-ops that this is not easy, they weren't joking. Bless all of you in whatever stage of the journey you may be. I'll write more when I have more strength. XOXO

Hi Heather~“Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” William Jennings Bryan. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you only have one life and one chance to do all the things that you want to do. The happiest people don’t have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along their way! May God hold you in the palm of His hand and Angels watch over you!
