7 days to go ya'll. I used to read on the message board all the time about people crying at the drop of a hat and think, well thats not gonna happen to me. Well today the flood gates opened. I'm guessing its nerves. Anyway all is good blood work, blood gases, chest x-ray, and EKG came back negative. Tom. I have the dreaded psych evaluation! Wish me luck. Still a go for Oct. 2nd. Could it come any slower? Good luck to all of you no matter where in the journey you may be.

I wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming surgery, I'm sure you are doing a happy dance accompanied by some "NERVES", but don't worry be happy!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers, I hope everything goes well and you are up and out and about real soon!!!!

Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side.

heather, I am glad to hear you are doing better on the anxiety...a suggestion for you, ask your dtr or his office mgr to ARRANGE that you "DO SHARE" the room with the women you have met. I was nervous as all getout before surgery, crying everyday that I would die on the table (never had surgery before) and I knew my close friend's cousin was having surgery the same day. We arranged to have the same room. It made everything easier. I saw my friend every day and her family, which I knew. My firned, Michelle, who had the surgery 5 mos before, was there everyday visiting her cousin, so, it made both our stays easier. Plus, another girl I met from here was down the hall. The support you get makes all the difference. GOOD LUCK, SEE YOU ON THE OTHERSIDE.
