Well, well Ms.Burke, you finally did it. Got your mind right and decided to take control of your life. This is a big step girlfriend. Thangs are never gonna be the same again. Not only do we share being obese, wanting WLS,but we also share Surgery dates. What are the chances to find you on this site. Have the same Dr. and the same date. I will never forget you. I think we will be friends forever. Helping each other get threw this. We are gonna get up and walk down the hallways of the hospital together. I am so happy for you. You have been working really hard to get a date. Congradulations. You did it.

I was asked to try to lose 25 pounds before surgery. I think it is a part of showing the surgeon your committment to this. If this is the worst thing that you have to do, do it with a smile and know that the surgeon is going to be working just as hard to help you get to a healthier life! :)
