"The nursing staff was wonderful at St. Vincent's in Cleveland on 5b the bariatric ward. My care was superb and found everyone to be very supportive, friendly and helpful. The excellent care started in the anestisia room and followed me right into the operating theatre and on to the bariatric floor. No complaints, other than they need to loose the green jello that is served for meal and get a cherry or raspberry.
I actually liked the hospital so much, when I recover since I am a STATE TESTED NURSING ASSISTANT/RESTORATIVE AIDE I plan to apply for a job on the bariatric floor and assist other in their journey."
"I had my consult with Dr. Ben-Meir for LAP RNY at CCBS today, (7-22-02) I was very impressed with him, he seems very caring and thorough and confident.
My appointment was suppose to be at 1pm, I never got in to see him until 2:45pm. He appologized for the wait, but the office staff never explained the delay at all or said anything as to why I was waiting so long.He was very easy to talk to and open to answering any and all questions. The office staff at CCBS during phone calls and emails has always been pleasant and supportive.UPDATE..I had my surgery on 8-29-02 everything went smooth, no complications and I was discharged on 8-31-02.
Dr. Ben-Meir has wonderful bedside manner, very professional and thorough.In my surgery he got all done, did not like my new pouch and he made me a new one. He is very picky and I love that in a surgeon. I would strongly recommend him. He is a very skilled, caring and decent man."
