Sorry to be so long between updates! I'm doing well, I've lost 105 lbs. and I've been on this plateau for about 6 weeks. Things have been going great. I'm going back to school to finish my teaching degree, so I'm very busy, but happy! I'll have to post a new picture soon. I'm having a party to celebrate breaking that 100 lb mark. Maybe I'll post some pictures from that. Hope everyone is doing well!

I've tried to post an update a few times, but they never seem to post. So I'm trying again! I'm down 75 pounds, and currently on a plateau. I had kind of a rough start. I was throwing up all the time and finally the doctor discovered I had a stenosis or narrowing at the exit end of my new pouch. It was so small that I could barely get liquids through it, 3mm. So they put a scope down my throat and inflated a tiny balloon to stretch the opening to 15mm. Now I'm doing much better, I can eat and drink without throwing up. I just have to remember to go slow or I still throw up sometimes. The only problems I'm having now are hair loss and sagging skin that isn't bouncing back! ;)

Hi Trula, OK! How about an update. Let's see your surgery was in October, almost 4 months out. How ya doin? Hope everything is well with you. Try to stay warm. I'm back!! Sorry it took me so long to update, but my back is very sore and I can't sit at the computer for very long. Everything went well and I was home in 3 days. I'm doing pretty good, eating is torture, but I'm getting used to it! My 2 week check is tomorrow so I don't have the official weight, but my scale at home is showing 20 lbs. gone in 12 days!!!!!!! I'm on my way!!!
