Helloooooooooooooooo!! I am home!! I got home last night about 10:30. I am so happy that I made it to the otherside. It was so much better than I thought it would be. I think the IV's and leak test were the worst part.I had to be stuck at least 25 times to start a IV, 12 times in my neck. They finally ended up stiching one in the main vein in my groin area. When they took it out I about died the damn thing had a wire that looked ever bit of 7 inches!! But I made it so I need to be very thankful and not dwell on that..LOL I want to thank all of you who left such sweet comments, prayers..And a big thank you to my sister Lara and my Angel Glenda for keeping everyone updated. Thank you and God Bless!!!

Hello, This is Stephanie's sister Lara. I am updating her page for her . She is doing wonderful. She has been up walking every two hours since yesterday. She still hasn't had anything to drink yet. She done her leakage test today and they didn't see any leakage, But the doctor still has to look at it. She hasn't had to use much pain medicine. She said she feels good, But she is still sore. She is ready to be home , but she is still waiting for the doctor to come and see her today. She hopes to come home tomorrow. She wanted me to thank all who has been praying for her, called , sent flowers , well wishes and for sending her all the support comments. She also wanted me to tell ya'll she is on the OTHERSIDE now.

Stephanie, Way to go girl! Although I have to admit the IV site sounds pretty horrendous, it is only temporary. Hope you can come home soon. Good luck on your journey. Helen C

Hello, I am stephanie's sister Lara. I am updating her surgery for her. God was with stephanie this morning . She came through surgery wonderful this morning. She is alert and talking . She is very sore right now. Her stomach is very sore and her neck. They couldn't get an I.V. in her arm so they had to put it in her neck which left a hard knot and swelling in her neck. She is very thirst right now. They said if she is doing good tommorrow, she might get to come home tomorrow. I love my sister very much and I am very pround of her for being so strong and not losing her courage for this surgery. I Thank God for watching over her each and everyday. Please pray for a good recovery for my sister. Thank you to all who having been praying and leaving encouragement comment to her. They really helped her through this surgery.
