Hi everyone. I am actually at the computer. Trying to wipe away the tears from my eyes from reading my surgery page. I really felt blessed. I am 9 days out now. Not any complications. Just lots of pain. Not taking the Lortab because if I sleep while on it, I seem to gasp for air, and it tastes sooooo bad. I have a few positions where I do not hurt. Mainly in my recliner. My 18 year old is doing a great job caring for my almost 4 year old, and me. I just sit and hope to feel better. Thought I would be driving by now. Ha. Take care all.

Hi shellie- Lisa Dobson and I were also one another's angels. She told me that you visited her at the hospital and how good it made her feel. The next few days will be a challenge re: pain control and caffeine withdrawal. It will resolve/ BUt slow and steady wins this race. STAY off YOUR FEET ,whenever possible, the first two weeks. Don't overdue. Do walking in 15 minute segments. The housework can wait. Please don't overdue though with three children it is already a given. Again, if it's quiet, REST! and sip your water. Congratulations to being post-op. Michelle
