Just went to my PCP for a checkup. Had a rotten stressful day at work and was running late for the Dr's appt. When he saw me, he took my BP and said he only gets 1 or 2 patients a week that are 120/70. And to think I used to be on BP Meds!! Also, had all my bloodwork done and I'm super healthy. Just not losing any more weight. Going in 8/26 for the Tummy Tuck.

Surgery on 4/18/01 went fairly well. Entered hospital on Wednesday and discharged Sunday. Had some problems with breathing, but finally got surgeon and pulmonary docs to agree it was no worse than before surgery. As of 5/3/01, down 25 pounds. All of staples out now. Had problems with drain. Dr Dempsey wants it in for 3 weeks total. Per Home Health nurse this is great and the 3 weeks will allow for body to readjust to absorbing the assorted acids. Since I'm big busted (boy is that an understatement), I seem to be annoying the drain. Next week it comes out and hope to move more quickly on to recovery.
