"He seems to be nice, but when asked about laparscopic RNY, he said he didn't have time to learn the new procedure. He knew nothing about the DS procedure; I actually new more about the various WLS procedures out there. The one thing he did that irritated me was he kept talking as if to not allow me to ask questions. He has performed numerous RNY surgeries so I feel confident that he knows what he's doing. He also stated that there was no difference in weight loss for distal RNY as opposed to proximal which I don't believe is true. Overall, I thought he was competent, nice, but somewhat lacking in bedside manner.
