"Dr. Harvey Sugerman is one of the pioneers of this surgery. Dr. Goodman in New York City said he was his "hero" also. Dr. Sugerman operates out of the Medical College of Virginia. I had my surgery on 12/13/99 and I have done very well to say the least. I have had no complications at all so far! Dr. Sugerman is very well known in the WLS field and speaks all over the country concerning this WLS procedure. I had the open RNY.

They are very impressive and that is one of the main reasons, other than referrals from others, why I chose him to do my surgery. I wanted someone who did this surgery a lot and he does!
