I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. (unknown author) FROM MY HEART TO YOU~*~Hugs~*~

Kimberly, I am a fairly new post-op who's 4 months out from surgery so I don't have any experience with weight regain from the surgery. I do have LOTS of experience with weight regain from the many pre-op diet attempts and understand how scary this can be. I am so glad you decided to come forward and express your concerns, and I hope that you find the answers that you seek. Keeping you in my prayers... Caroline

September 11, 2003 As of today, I have regained 86lbs. I have been struggling with accepting my weight gain that is why I have not written sooner. Unlike many other people I didn't end up having problems with dumping, and my old friend/enemy sugar made its way back into my life. Subsequently, I have had moments of weight gain and plauteus, but no weight loss. I have been extrememly ashamed and have not wanted to admit to my failure. I just can't do this alone anymore. I have moved since I had the surgery, and need to find a support group in my area. I just feel so alone with this failure. If there is anyone out there that has been through and managed to lose the weight after please contact me.
