I have more news. Pam is doing exceptionally well. On a scale of 1-10 she says her pain is a 5! This is great because I heard one lady say on a scale from 1-10 her pain was 100. Pam is walking around. She has a very good attitude. The staff is somewhat surprised at how well she is doing. Prayer really helps.

Pam had surgery this morning. She is doing great! I am shocked actually at how well she is doing. She still has her sense of humor and she is quite determined to get better quickly! She requested to get up and walk before the 4 hours. Usually, they get you up 4 hours after surgery. She was up at about 3 hours. I talked with her again this evening and she is still doing quite well. She said it isn't nearly as bad as she expected. I hope tomorrow goes this well also. I'll keep everyone posted.
